Florida is a southeastern U.S. state bordering the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. It’s known for its beaches, resorts, and theme parks, including the gargantuan Walt Disney World. Florida is also home to Everglades National Park, protecting the fragile ecosystem of swamps and sawgrass marshes. North of the Everglades lie the gentle rolling hills of north-central Florida.
